For that reason, we didn't build the program as a technical checklist to go through, but as a learning experience that establishes and reinforces the right set of habits and attitudes over time.

Since the end goal is to pave the way for a fulfilling career, we have cut through the noise to focus on the skills actually used by engineers on the job. Each piece of the program has hard-earned its right to be there.

All in all, the program is intensive, purposeful, and aims to build engineers that will be a driving force for change.

At the end of the 1st semester, Juniors have developed good professional habits around quality standards and workflows. They respond well to critique and have laid out strong foundations for lifelong learning. Given clear project requirements, they can research and implement efficient solutions autonomously.

By the end of the 1st year, Full-stack devs have explored in-depth one domain: the web. They are able to work efficiently in teams to meet project requirements, and they comply with industry standards to develop and deploy professional web apps.

Intern

ACADEMIC BREAK

Students go on a SHORT-TERM INTERNSHIP. They get a first taste of what the industry is like and what being a software engineer means in very concrete ways.

They come back for the second year with a deeper understanding of what it means to be a good engineer, renewed motivation, and clear focus.

Senior
